I just installed Ubuntu 10.4 for the netbook on my HP Mini 1000 and the wireless is not working. It won't detect any signal. I've tried activating the Broadcom drivers that were listed in Hardware Drivers and neither worked. I also did a full update.
Hi Everyone, I recently tried to install Ubuntu on my HP Mini 1000 but ran into the problem of network connectivity. The wireless card and the Ethernet port both failed connect to my network and I am unable to install the missing drivers. I did see a link (and downloaded) the Linux drivers for the Broadcom chip, but I have no idea on how to install this driver.
Hi Everyone (sorry, posted this in the hardware section first before seeing that it related more to networking), I recently tried to install Ubuntu on my HP Mini 1000 but ran into the problem of network connectivity. The wireless card and the Ethernet port both failed connect to my network and I am unable to install the missing drivers.
I need help to fix wireless connection for the HP Mini Net Book.
I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS as a replacement for Windows 7 Starter which was pre installed on the HP mini netbook.
After the installation, everything seems fine except for the wireless connection.
I recently re installed Oneric on my Dell Vostro 1000. I got the wireless working (which wasn't a big deal) and now I am working on the video config. The video card is an ati x1150 Right now it seems to be using the gallium 3d driver version 0.3 i think and its working pretty well but I have noticed some sluggishness in the video.
I bought a new Galaxy S3 mini last week before going on a tour of the Scottish highlands where I took lots of lovely video footage. Unfortunately as a novice I took the video with the phone in the vertical position. When I downloaded to my computer to make a DVD, the videos are in the horizontal format. Is there a way to flip or rotate the video to get it to play verically?
