http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello all. I'm going to reinstall my Ubuntu with the new 13.04 release soon so I want to ask you which is the best option to recreate my partition scheme. My system boots really slow and I blame the hard drive for this. I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 64bit with Unity on: 8 logical cores i7 8 GB 1666 MHz RAM 1 TB 5400 rpm hard drive When I say slow, I mean really slow - 60 seconds for OS itself and other 30 seconds for DE. My current partition scheme is: Code: user@pc:~$ sudo fdisk -l [sudo] password for user: Disk /dev/sda: 1000.2 GB, 1000204886016 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1216 (Hardware)
