Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 with wvdial and Gnome PPP, but I am unable to connect to the internet with my Zoom 3095 USB Modem. I tried several times and got similar results. I have got the connection log attached along with all of the mentions of pppd and all other lines in the file /var/log/messages from the first mention to the ent
I've downloaded and installed kubuntu karmic koala RC. It doesn't work with my Broadcom 43xx wifi adapter. I even tried to load with linuxant.com driver loader script but it says there is no 43xx card exist! ](*,)
What is wrong with that? Is it becos of RC release or just karmic?
In Windows 7 (which was included on my laptop), I could use the right side of the touchpad to scroll vertically, and the bottom edge to scroll horizontally. In Ubuntu, this doesn't work and I see no setting to enable it. Is it even supported? I miss this feature. I just removed Windows and installed Ubuntu 12.04 beta.
I'm using Karmic 64 on an HP-6930p laptop (Intel WiFi Link 5300),
my wlan connection often drops when transmission is running for approx 5 hours with no other internet activity,
it never happens while I'm surfing and such...
To clarify - connection gets lost, ubuntu is trying to reconnect to said network (signal is up) but fails due to faulty authorization...
