[ubuntu] Using multiple gmail/yahoo/hotmail account using empathy

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, I'm using empathy for facebook, gmail, yahoo and hotmail account, it works great for me. My question is that, is it possible to add another gmail/yahoo/hotmail account in empathy. If so, then how? Thanks everybody. (Hardware)

Anyone else have this problem?

I created a new empathy account using my hotmail.

When I try to call someone it shows that person as available but there is no ringing sound.

In short is there a problem using hotmail in empathy?

Hello you all!, just have a general, but deep question about Empathy.

After installing all possible backend needed to create accounts, I was able to create my yahoo account, but when I try video calling my friend how uses m$n on xp, I get the message "connecting....." but on my friend's pc It doesn't show that I'm calling him.

As the titles says, i cannot connect to my WindowsLive Account in Empathy.

The problem started when i installed Pidgin and then removed it.

I don't have telepathy-butterfly and also tried to completely remove Empathy and install it again, didn't work !

any ideas ?

So I installed Empathy IM, telepathy-salut, and telepathy-butterfly. It lets me log on, but I can't message other friends on WLM. It lets me message them who have Yahoo! from it, but not here. At least, it seems like it. That is the first problem. (I have a friend who has Yahoo!

Using the stock email app I am able to add my yahoo accounts, alumni edu/gmail account (similar to business gmail account), and personal gmail account. I however can't add my work gmail business account. I could just fine on my htc evo but not on the s4. I tried it manually imap setup and it just says "setup could not complete" authentication failed.

Hello All, I have downloaded the hotmail app to my nexus 7 and everything works well except my hotmail account contacts do not show when I enter a known correct address? I do however get my gmail contacts come up which I do not want. How do I change this so my hotmail contacts show please? Thank you so much for any help you can give. Rgds Gavola.
