[ubuntu] Update returns an error

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm running 10.04 and it shows an error when I try to update. Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/mozillateam...86/Packages.gz 404 Not Found Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead. Is there a problem with the repository, or do I need to remove this one? Thanks for any and all help. (Hardware)

its said this for the past few days, every other updates have been fine

I woke up this morning to an error with the update manager: Code: ailed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/mozillateam/firefox-stable/ubuntu/dists/lucid/m... 404  Not Found Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/mozillateam/thunderbird-stable/ubuntu/dists/luc... 404  Not Found I googled and searched here for an answer

When i go to the update manager, this is what occurs:

W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-sw...source/Sources 404 Not Found , W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-sw...amd64/Packages 404 Not Found , W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-sw...-i386/Packages 404 Not Found , E:Some index files failed to download.

After Updrading to 12.10 from 12.04 am getting the following error messages while running the update manager,which seems like some problem with file related to Myunity.

could anyone help me to remove this error message.

12.04.1 LTS

Every 2 days or so, when I go to update my ubuntu, I get a Orange Triangle with a "!"

Hey all, first post :)

When I was brand new to Ubuntu, I downloaded some packages using the APT before fully understanding it. I'm not 100% sure what I did back then, but these packages are causing errors with the 'Software Updater' such that it simply displays an error message, and then closes (however, I am able to update my software using the command line).
