Hi everyone,
I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity and I have linked Thunderbird to my Gmail account. When I receive an email I don't get any notifications in the messaging menu. I have heard that the small white envelope turns blue or green when a new email has arrived, but not for me.
HI
Ive installed the crap app zedge for download a simple sound, now the android doesnt find media/sound/notifications folder anymore. The system bring to me only default notifications. Im using ICS, dont have no others notifications folder on SD or cell`s memory.
Dunno what to do, dunno where i can set ics to use /media/sound/notifications again.
Pliiis somebody help me
I am wondering if anybody is using the default or gmail as a sole client. Also, does anybody know how to disable one or the other so that you only get notifications from one of them. For instance, when I get a email I get 2 notifications. One for the default and one for gmail.
If I pull down my Notifications bar, there's an option to disable Notifications.
I'm looking for some way to code this into an NFC tag. NFC Task Launcher doesn't seem to have an option to turn Notifications off - it lets you change the notifications ring tone, volume or LED light, but not actually disable them.
Any ideas?
How do I get rid of this notifications envelope? This is not the indicator app and I can't seem to find a way to remove it. It's totally useless in that it collects notifications and has to constantly be cleared.
See attachment to see what I mean.

WWE just releases an app witch is great. Only problem is that it wakes me up at night with notifications reguarding their live TV show. See i dont want to make make my phone all silent at night becuse i want to recive calls and so on, and quite frankly i dont want to recive notifications from WWE at all. But i would like to keep the app. And i dont want to turn notifications off all together.

Recent Notifications Indicator or Indicator Notifications captures and displays all desktop notifications you receive through notification daemon.
It is pretty useful tool if you want to track all your notifications.
Is there a way to disable "Show notifications" check for specific application programmatically?
This check is here:
Settings->APps->Click on any app from a list-> Show notifications
I need to do a program that disables or enables this check for showing user notifications for specific application.
