Hi and first of all thanks for a the great Fedora 12 release!
Hi,
Hi,
My monitor broke the other day and so I had to go out and get a new one. The resolution of my old monitor and the resolution set on ubuntu is 1440x900. The new max resolution of my new monitor is 1360x768.
I recently was mucking around with my graphics drivers on Ubuntu 12.10 (I have a Radeon HD 6950 and I was getting borderless windows and no lenses). After I rebooted, now Ubuntu will show the logo and the orange dots for a minute, then the screen will go black and everything will freeze.
Howdy,
I have Ubuntu 9.10 installed on a Lenovo X500 laptop. Today I decided to
install the proprietary ATI/AMD graphics driver that was shown as available
in the "Hardware drivers" Administration menu. I clicked "Activate" and it

How do I fix this?
I am using a ASUS 1225C netbook, with intel gma3600.
Because graphics support was not available, i followed the instructions given here.
Now when I get the grub screen, If i select the first option (the one that I always used to select), i just get a blank screen and nothing else.
Instead if I select the second option (recovery mode), and then select "normal" option in the menu that appears, I a
Hello,
I recently upgraded to 12.04.
Post upgrade, my display resolution is 1024x768. In the display settings menu, I do not get any other option for higher resolution.
I was always using higher resolution before.
I use onboard graphics....Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics
Please suggest what I should be doing.
