Hi,
I have an ubuntu server version 13.04 and got Virtualbox installed on it. Now I am trying to install Windows Ultimate 64 bit as guest.
Well, I can't.
I have dell inspiron, previously i have install ubuntu 11.10 on my win7 and make it dual boot. but since i want to upgrade my ubuntu version and change the partion spacing, i have delete 11.10 partion directly and extend my hardrive space(windows + ubuntu) at that moment everything is fine. then i have put 12.04 version pendrive in usb boot from usb and install the 12.04 32 bit .
i have recently installed ubuntu 11.10 on my system along with windows xp.
Previously i have ubuntu 9.04, i have deleted those partitions and installed 11.10.
installation is complete but i am unable to boot into ubuntu. Following is the error.
error: can't read file
error: load kernel first.
Any help is really appreciated.

I have a problem here which is getting frustrating now..
several weeks ago i have upgraded one of our ubuntu-server machines here, previously we were running it on kernell image 2.6.32-21 , after upgrading it to 2.6.32-41 problems started.
on boot up, if for any instance the machine needs rebooting, the boot menu pops up and it will select new kernell image, but then it gets stuck on
Code:
error: no such device: abc123
error: cannot get C/H/S values.
