[ubuntu] Ubuntu 11.10 install on old Toshiba Satellite (ca 1999)

http://ubuntuforums.org – So I have an old Toshiba Satellite laptop from 1999-2000 that I ran a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.10 on. Everything seems to run fine from the Live CD, and the install process went without a hitch. However, after rebooting after the install, I get the error message: NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart I tried the boot-repair-disk LiveCD, and had no luck there. It did generate this useful log: http://paste.ubuntu.com/910859/ The ubuntu installer was told to wipe the existing disk before installing, and there is only the one hard drive installed. No version of windows is pr (Hardware)
