Greetings--
I've been having a problem with playing some videos from my DSLR. There's a white line at the bottom of the video. (Not really white: it's all different colors, but it mostly looks white.) See the attached screenshot.
The strange thing is that it doesn't happen with all the videos from that camera.
I'd like to make my Canon MP730 accessible to both my laptop & my second PC.
My main computer, the one that has everything hooked up to it (the D-Link DIR-655 router, the Canon MP730 inkjet printer, VOIP, etc.) is in the basement.
Hi, I would very much like to put this ubuntu program back onto my laptop. I did however a year ago experienced problems with the link between my laptop and my two printers, ie Canon isensys LBP 2900 laser or a canon 2700 inkjet. I could not print from either of my printers.
Here is the download link for the new and latest firmware version for your Canon 7D DSLR system. This is the official firmware driver from CANON Inc. If you own Canon 7D, you can download and update your camera firmware to this latest version.
Download the driver of Canon Pixma iP2700 for Ubuntu from the link we provided below this post. This is .deb package for Ubuntu 9.10 and later. Canon Pixma iP2700 featuring a compact design.
I am having trouble connecting a Canon DSLR in CrunchBang. When I plug the camera in to the computer with the USB cable, nothing happens--it does not detect it like it does with a USB flash drive. I check the File Manager and no "camera/drive" is displayed. I tried gphoto2 in the terminal and it can detect the camera but has an error trying to connect to it.
Well, I have a canon PowerShot A3100 IS, and I have some problems while importing videos.
When I try to copy them, it simply doesn't work, and when I try to import them, it starts buging, and it crashes the pc.
Does anyone know a better software for importing videos/pictures from a camera, or do I need to install a driver ?
Thanks
I was wondering to have a Canon DSLR camera to satisfy my hobby of photography. But actually I am a Nikon users. I read in my lovely magazine, there is a short review and comparison of some Macro lens for Canon. And the most advanced and best choice is Canon EF 100mm 1:2,8 Macro USM.
My current set up is as such:
WIndows/Arch Linux dual-boot PC connected by USB cable to Canon PIXMA MP640 printer. I have a laptop with Xubuntu installed which I am trying to connect to the printer by Wi-Fi. Both the desktop PC and the laptop are connected to a Linksys modem/router by ethernet and wireless respectively.
