http://www.learningubuntu.com – Ubuntu Tweak, an application which provides several extra tweak options for Ubuntu, has just released the new 0.5.0 version. Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.0 brings a couple of interface changes, the ability to now sync your data to the web, and a couple of new options. The full changes that have occurred in Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.0 are: No more support for older Ubuntu version Uses all native icons in the interface Now supports dynamic-module which loads only the modules which the desktop supports A new redesign of the sidebar and title bar An improved Application Center and Source Center which both support online data sync A new Update Manager which is easier to use and read New "Change Hostname" feature added to the computer page New indication-session dialog control New menu and button icon options for gnomesettings New show desktop icon options New option to disable the user list in GDM With this new release, Ubuntu Tweak has officially dropped support for the older Ubuntu releases, and now only focuses on support for Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. Even though Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.0 brings minor interface changes compared to the last version, the upcoming Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.0 plans on taking the interface redesign a couple of notches up. Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.0 is planned to be released before the release of Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx.
