http://ubuntuforums.org – I have a 'dead' mp3 player with about 1gig of music which I am anxious to retrieve. When I plug the player into a usb port I get an icon on my desktop which I can open to reveal the files. This is /media/FFFF-FFD6. all the tracks thereon are listed as follows: track01.cda: track02.cda etc. However, when I try to access them I get the following error message: no decoder found for file: ///media/FFFF-FD6 track01%20%283%29.cda I cannot open or copy any of these tracks at all - nor will they play on any media player. can anyone pse help or advise. Thanks in advance for any (Hardware)
