Whenever any application like firefox is executed from unity launcher it takes 3 seconds and appears on screen (Unity 3D)
while in case of Unity 2D it run at the instant the icon gets clicked
The 3 second waiting really annoys me

I installed Ununtu 9.04 64 on this laptop. And I tried everything, but I cannot get sound to work. Ant help is appreciated.

Gusar is rigth. The compat-wireless have drivers for Ethernet, bluethoot and others thingsSorry for not give information, that's because I was change several things, such as rc.conf (modules), netcfg, networkmanager and so on.lspci -k (see the last pci)

So i tried the other questions they have not worked, i know for a fact that after installing ubuntu and installing the drivers the sound just starts to work a few days later, however i dont have the additional drivers package on crunch bang so i have no idea what to do!
