I recently have lost my time in the upper right hand corner and cannot seem to find where I have hidden it. Plus my system settings icon on the left bar has disappeared. Can someone help me please?
Running 12.04 LTS. This is extremely annoying and makes me want to try another flavor of linux. Yes, this little inconvenience is THAT annoying to me. Most of the time the launcher will appear nice and easy as soon as I mouse over the upper left corner, but many times, the left edge of the screen will get a little darker, but the launcher will not appear.
Sometimes, when using evince to display a PDF flle, an unknown icon is displayed. It looks like a page of text, with a hand and a "plus sign" (+) in the upper left corner.
Picture attached. Activity that seems to cause this is left-clicking the mouse and then dragging.
I just switched from 10.04 to 12.04. When I click the clock and click 'Time & Date Settings' it opens up the general System Settings menu (which itself is a problem, it should go directly to Time/Date settings, but that doesn't concern me). From there I navigate to 'Date and Time'. It gives me the option to switch between AM/PM and 24 hour, but regardless of which I choose, it stays at AM/PM.
Hi everyone,I'm trying crunchbang for the first time (I used to play with debian) and I really appreciate the look and customization. This post is a request to help me tweak a little more my whole system. Here we go :(edit: fixed by pvsage) I would like to change the color of the desktop name that is on the upper left corner.
I want the clock at the top of the screen to display seconds. The seconds disappeared after I upgraded from 12.10 to 13.04. My attempts at doing so are unsuccessful and I'm stuck at how I just might get it to display the seconds in the time.
