Search the web tried a few different fixes and thus far all have failed.
When i click on a URL in the body of a Thunderbird email nothing happens.
If i right click > open in browser nothing happens.
Hi everybody, this is becoming a little nightmare for me.
Some webpages contain email links. If you right-click on the link in most Web browsers, a menu appears that lets you copy the email address to the clipboard (first screenshot). You can then paste the address into the To field of a new email message.
In recent versions of Mozilla's Firefox browser, you can also left-click on the link and get some action.
I would take this question over to Mozilla.org and not here at askubuntu.com except for the following:
This is a brand new install of Ubuntu, Firefox and Thunderbird.
On the same computer I also have band new installs of Firefox and Thunderbird for the Wondows7 partition. And they are running perfectly.
One of the Firefox lockups is totally reproducible.
Hello Linux users,
I am running KDE 3.5 Hardy Ubuntu and have encounterd an odd window switch to new window view problem.
When I click to open a web link in any Thunderbird email it will open Firefox but it stays on the current Thunderbird window. I have to manually click the FF on the task bar to switch and view it. Maybe it's a focus issue....not sure what focus really means.
Whenever I click on a link in an e-mail in thunderbird nothing happens, ie. it does not open a browser to show the link. I have to copy the location to firefox, any help greatly appreciated..:
All of a sudden, when I click on a link in Thunderbird, nothing happens, where it used to open a tab in Firefox. Left clicking and selecting "open in browser" also doesn't work.
I checked in Firefox to make sure I had it set as my default browser, but when I click on an html file it opens in Konquerer. Is there another setting I should change? If so, what? Where?
I have download and installed thunderbird 3RC2 and it works great
except for one small problem. When you click on link in an email nothing
happens, if you right click and select open in browser nothing happens.
I would like to find a fix for this issue, it seems small but it gets under ones
skin after a few attempts at opening a link.
Recently, various versions of Firefox and Thunderbird released.
