http://ubuntuforums.org – Hey Guys, Does anyone know of a good Ubuntu-compatible game controller I can use with the Mupen64Plus N64 emulator? I just need something with a joystick and the standard buttons/pads. It doesn't have to be something for insane hardcore gamers (not that there is anything wrong with you guys). Anyone with emulator experience?

I am on XBMCUbuntu and the wireless xbox controller seems to work fine out of the box but I have to press the back button on the controller to activate which is fine.

What I would like to do is to enable the guide button on the xbox controller to exit the emulator so I do not need the keyboard.

I am using a PS3 controller on the FPSE emulator. Every time I open a game file the buttons need programming everytime. I thought this only needed doing once per game as it would remember the settings when the game was next loaded. Many thanks in advance

Hi guys, I bought the sixaxis app and got my ps3 controller to sync, but when i tried to use it for a game, there wasn't an option for using a controller. Am I doing something wrong?? My n7 is rooted and have tried the game on dead trigger. Strafe, fire and reload works during the game but I can't get the sixaxis to work. DO i have to remap something and how do i do that? thanks in advanced

Hello guys. I've been trying for a few hours to get this working and simply can't seem to get any 3D acceleration going on my laptop.

I have an HP dv6qe with a 2630M i7 and a 6770M. I've tried the fglrx and downloaded the ATI drivers and get various errors with both. Here is my lspci output.

When I game in Windows, I use MotionInJoy to emulate a 360 controller using my PS3 controller via bluetooth. All is well, at least, when the game has native controller support.

If I'm playing a game through Wine that has native 360 support, it generally doesn't recognize any part of the PS3 controller.

Hello. With recent kernels (3.5) my PS3 controller stopped working as joystick. It doesn't matter if it is connected via USB or Bluetooth, /dev/input/event15 appear when controller is connected (hid_sony module loads), but nothing like /dev/input/js0 or /dev/js0. Can anyone help?
