First of all i'm not sure if this is the correct subforum but there wasn't really anywhere else to post. I know i should be looking in a forum actually related to transmission but i didn't want to make another account
I'm torrenting a large (~6GB) file and my download speed isn't great so i like to leave my computer on overnight.
Hi guys, from about 1 week ago i notice a problem while using Transmission on my Gnome 3.6 machine which never appeared before. When I open Transmission and it starts downloading files, a tracker-extract process appears on system monitor in the Sleeping state and takes the 100% of CPU until i close Trasmission or wait 10-15 minutes.

I have installed Transmission service on Centos. It is running. The problem is when I type myservername/transmission in my browser address it cant open it. It was working before.
I've got a "Sleep" key on my keyboard that I use to suspend the system when I'm away from the computer for a longer time.
This works fine, at least for a while after I've turned the computer on. However, after some time, the Sleep key just stops working, and I've got to reboot the computer to make it work again.
Problem is, I don't know what to check.
I have a machine running Ubuntu 12.04 server with transmission-daemon running to handle bitorrents. Everything works fine except the transmission-daemon creates files as the user/group, debian-transmission, and with 744 file permissions.
I would like to be able to delete and move these file from a samba share.
Hello,
My USB keyboard works fine throughout the session, but my USB mouse (laser) stops working completely. I have tried the
Quote:
acpi=force irqpoll seems to work...
to add it to all of your kernel entry, open /boot/grub/menu.lst
scroll until you find defoptions=
and append
acpi=force irqpoll
I set up transmission-daemon on my Scientific Linux 6.3 machine to download files to a mounted NFS share (mounted during boot via /etc/fstab).
Hi, we are trying to install Ubuntu on a new Toshiba C660 laptop (it came without an operating system). First it worked fine, but then the right mouse button stopped working completely and the left mouse button seems to work randomly. This is true for both the built in touchpad buttons and for the external mouse (which is working fine with other laptops).
