I have installed pfsense on an old pc, the objective is to have a captive portal on my network
Now the structure is
ADSL router(with firewall)--> Pfsense(Wan)---> Lan---> Laptop( innitially just for testing)
Now i cannot get internet access on the lan, when i bridge Lan with Wan i get internet but otherwise no.
Is it routing issue between lan & Wan or Wan & ADSL router
or Firewall in A
I have an Ubuntu Server 12.04 connected to internet via adsl router with cable eth0.
The Ubuntu Server has the static ip 192.168.10.33
The adsl router (as DNS) has the ip 192.168.10.254 which i set as gateway in /etc/network/interfaces.
I want another Ubuntu (laptop), with ip 192.168.10.1 with wlan0 to connect to internet through the Ubuntu Server and not through the adsl router (which is easy)

I am from India and using BSNL (ISP) (dynamic IP) broadband connection
I have D-link 502T ADSL 2+ Router.
I can connect to internet in windows vista.
My LAN settings are
IP addr 10.84.0.1
Subnet 255.255.254.0
Gateway 10.84.0.255
DNS 4.2.2.2
Now in UBUNTU
I entered above in eth0 settings.
Also I gave username and password in DSL settings in network configurations.
But I am unable to
