hi friends,
After struggling of hard efforts, I am failed to install the skype in ubuntu 12.10 and 64 bit machine.
Every time, it is showing the error
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
skype: Depends: skype-bin but it is not going to be installed
Please help me to install the skype.

I must say I'm pretty noob in Linux, and I'm trying to install Skype, using this
manual. I successfully download the package using comand
wget -O skype-install.deb http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-deb-64
but when I try to install the package I get some errors about dependencies.

Need help, I cant install skype on this Ubunto 12.10 version, need your help. this is the error.
Some packages could not be installed.
When i try to install it from the Software Center, it displays an error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: skype: Depends: skype-bin but it is a virtual package
Running sudo apt-get install skype gives the same error.
When I download it from the official website, the .deb file opens in Software Center and displays "Cannot install 'ia32-libs'" and doesn't even show the install butt
while installing i get messaeges
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install skype
"Some packages could not be installed.
I installed downloaded skype from official website "Ubuntu 12.04 (multiarch)" and installed it.
