Every time I attempt to go into my phone settings it says "unfortunately, settings has stoped" I have reset my phone 3 times, held the power button to force reset it, still nothing. Idk what happend but all my settings are wrong and am unable to change them. Any way I can do a factory reset or something without goin in to the settings?
Why is the mouse speed in Ubuntu so insanely fast now? I just installed Ubuntu again today after not using it for a long time and my mouse cursor is blasting across my screen at warp speed, it never did this when I used Ubuntu before. I googled for a solution and using a terminal to change xinput settings helps but I can't get it to feel normal.
I have recently upgraded from ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04 and today i found that settings like network settings, bluetooth settings, time and date settings present in the top panel with the respective icons dont get open but its working fine when i use from system settings. Also there is no option for "Appearance" in system settings(both in gnome and unity).
I have just installed Gnome-Tweak to customize the theme. Now my whole desktop is reset to factory settings. The shortcuts that I added in the launcher are gone. Colors of fonts have changed. Also i can't change desktop backgrounds. Why is this ..how do I reset Ubuntu to how it was before? Thanks for any help in advance.
When I first installed Ubuntu, all networking worked perfectly. After messing with the settings every so often, it slowly became unusable. I would really like to know if there is a way to completely reset network settings without re-installing Ubuntu, DNS settings, proxy settings, everything. I'm running 12.04.
I'm running Ubuntu 13.10 and am having some issues with Nitrogen. Naturally, it resets when restarting the machine but I've changed my profile settings to restore once the terminal is open (so that's not a big deal). Recently though, it's started to reset after a period of a few minutes even when the terminal is open. Anybody have some insight into this issue? Also, I'm running Cinnamon.
