I tried to start my nvidia driver using nvidia-xconfig and now my screen resolution is stuck to 640x480. That is the only option displayed in System Settings -> Display. My default resolution was 1366x768.
Hey guys,

Hello,
Using Oneiric here with an NVIDIA graphics board.
My CPU frequency sticks to 800Mhz when restarting my computer. I would like to set the default to be 100%, which is 1.46Ghz. Is there any way to do this? I have an Acer 4720z laptop with an Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 processor.
hello,
i am using ubuntu 12.10 32-bit on my laptop DELL inspiron N4030 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 Series.
the problem is:
when Laptop on AC adapter, CPU frequency always be the maximum (2.39 GHz), that's make out loud fan, even i try to change that frequency, it returns automatically (to the maximum) as long as the laptop plugged in.
on the other hand ubuntu seems to (automatically) scal
The following Kconfig file says If in doubt, say N.
Where should I say N in this config file?
I wish to edit this file so that it takes the default parameters.
