Well, the last beta of Ubuntu LTS had a rather weird button placement on the title-bar. They were on the left like a Mac but in a weird order:

I have a Brother MFC7820N installed on Ubuntu 8.04. It's a network printer and is also installed on my XP laptop. Printing on XP takes a "normal" amount of time: click Print, within a second or two printing begins with no noticeable pause between pages.
