[ubuntu] Samba & Swat - Swat not loading pages

http://ubuntuforums.org – First of all - sorry if I have posted this in the wrong support category. OS: Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 (64-bit) I would like to use Swat to administrate my Samba shares, printers, etc. I followed the instructions on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Swat however I have a problem that's really throwing me for a loop - pages aren't loading fully. It seems like something is making it stop dead. As such, I can't do anything with Swat. a while back i noticed that the swat status page on my ubuntu 9.04 server system lost the start/stop/restart buttons for smbd, nmbd, and winbindd.

i suspect it was due to an update to swat via aptitude, but i can find no information on the matter. did the swat team decide to remove that functionality?

When I use Samba SWAT to change the smb.conf setting, I can't find include statement.

I then try manually change smb.conf:

[test] path = /mnt/test available = no include = /etc/samba/smb.%G.conf

Assume the group is "users", the /etc/samba/smb.users.conf contain:

available = yes

The samba share "test" works as expected.

TROUBLE updating my system! ;_; 3 years 17 weeks ago

I was doing software updare under administration, but I can't update my poor baby. I just installed F12 I get errors like the ones below.
