[ubuntu] Rhythmbox does not load

I have tried removing the plugin & uninstalling and re-installing RB, but no luck. This is my error. today when i started Rhythmbox and played a song then there is sound in it.

Hi, I've been working to port Alex Segler's excellent radiobrowser rhythmbox plugin for v0.13 to the later versions of Rhythmbox - specifically developing against v2.96 of Rhythmbox which using GTK3+ stuff.

Most stuff is now working - I'm having a few issues with the filter tab displaying iconized radiostations together with a few other bits & bobs.

If anyone wants to help completing

Rhythmbox Equalizer 45 weeks 6 days ago

Hello,

I was having an issue with the pulseaudio-equalizer an rhythmbox, sound gets really crackly but so far only with rhythmbox, youtube sounds just fine. I tried installing the rhythmbox equalizer thinking I can just use this for now as a work around, I don't mind the extra few clicks to disable one equalizer for a short time then enable it later.

I installed this repository and updated it.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fossfreedom/rhythmbox-plugins sudo apt-get update

And then installed the plugins:

sudo apt-get install rhythmbox-plugin-complete

Everything seemed to install fine and most if not all (didn't check everyone) of the other plugins are in RhythmBox, but the Pandora one wont come up.

Previous I have never used rhythmbox by default because it seemed to be lacking in features to me. Just my personal opinion.

With rhythmbox back in 12.04 will ubuntu give it some attention to give it some usability one thing that was majorly missing on my last use of rhythmbox was an equalizer which is the most basic of requirements for an audio player let alone a preamp.

i had problems upgrading, and i haven't restarted my computer yet to prevent any failures.

I was downloaded the new latest version of Rhythmbox 0.12.8. Its a tar.gz archive source file. Like usual, I extract the file and it produce a folder called rhythmbox-0.12.8. I open the folder and start compile and installing rythmbox using command ./configure.
