Hi, I have removed various rhythmbox directorys as superuser to make rhythmbox detect my artbox correctly, but what I have done is not fix the problem but spoil the menu bars of the interface (window menu, play/pause/forward/next controls)
I remember one of the directorys was /usr/share/rhythmbox
How can I recover rhythmbox?
I have tried with apt-get remove --purge rhythmbox
But nothin
After update to Xubuntu 12.10 buttons for Rhythmbox in sound menu of XFCE panel have stopped working. Only thing they do is to make Rhythmbox window restore. These buttons comes handy when you don't want to open Rhythmbox only to pause or forward.
So please provide a solution for this.
F12 completely patched.
Can someone provide some insight into the various volume controls available and why they seem to conflict with each other?
hello,
i just restarted my computer, and since, i cannot close rhythmbox and have it minimize to the panel, it just closes, making the controls on the panel sound applet quite useless. any ideas why?
i did not notice any updates waiting on the reboot.
when opening rhythmbox by the terminal, and then closing it, it returns no errors.
its 12.04 gnome
at 1st i had play/pause controls under my volume icon, i don't really need it but it is bugging me that i can seem to get it back
i had been installing some stuff and removed some things (mostly stuff i some how installed without noticing like rhythmbox/nautilus/brasio)
i am using gmusicbrowser on xububtu 12.04 with xfce 4.10
I stopped using rhythmbox years ago because I thought banshee was better, now I would say as far as the 2 players go rhythmbox seems to be much less buggy, (no this isn't a which player is better thread so lets not go there) anyway I use bash scripts to control banshee after login, to get it to start in the background and play music automatically, I want to switch to rhythmbox but can't seem to fi
i had problems upgrading, and i haven't restarted my computer yet to prevent any failures.
At one point I had a speaker control icon in the top right of my screen. Now It is gone. I have tried adding it back but it does not appear to be a widget, nor does it appear to be launched via a launcher. There is a volume application I can access but the ease of use of the speaker control icon was very nice. Is this a widget in xfce? Or a launcher?
With slackware 13.1 & GSB 2.30 the multimedia keys (play/pause, next, previous) worked in Rhythmbox. After upgrading to GSB-Current these keys stopped working in Rhythmbox. In Totem, Amarok they do work.
How to get these keys back in Rhythmbox?
