We have a shell/tty based application that has ~1,000 users. If a user accidently turns on the Scroll Lock, it makes it seem as if the application is frozen because it quits responding to keyboard input. Is there a way to disable the Scroll Lock or remap it to something less intrusive for this use-case?
Sorry, I am new to android. When I setup lock screen and turn off, the screen does not have the lock screen I setup when I turn it back on. It still show the swipe screen, no pin lock or password screen. Now if i power off and reboot then it show up. Also if I set up a type of pass lock then I can't use the lock widget anymore. It just won't show when I scroll right or left.
I've installed FreeBSD inside a VM on a laptop. As it turns out, the laptop keyboard has no Scroll Lock key, which is used for scrolling the screen back in FreeBSD's console. How can I scroll back the output without Scroll Lock?
Hi,
I'm running heyu, the home automation software, and it wanted to write to /var/lock.
Fedora makes /var/lock only root writeable (I did change this, but it gets changed back after a reboot so I presume that's saying, "Hey, don't do that!").
So I see that the Fedora way is to use /var/lock/lockdev which is root and the lock group writeable.
I changed heyu to write to that l
This simple and brief tutorial will show you how to install the Lock Keys indicator in Ubuntu using ppa. If your Ubuntu laptop doesn’t have any LED indicators for the lock keys, it may be useful.
Using the command line, how can I turn on my Scroll Lock led?
I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
I tried xset led named "Scroll Lock" but nothing happened.
xset q says the led is on, but no light is on...
I need this to configure the KGMailNotifier to turn on this led when a e-mail comes to me.
Edit:

Hi,
I have a Lemur Ultra (lemu3), running Ubuntu 12.04. Recently my computer crashed twice without warning, and upon reboot the num lock and caps lock lights were blinking. There were no error messages.
Could someone please help me diagnose the problem?
Thanks very much.
I've searched for this on Google and here but haven't found a good answer yet. (Similar question to http://androidforums.com/incredible-support-troubleshooting/230406-how-l...)
When I talk about "locking", there are two different things I mean.
