First off, I apologize. This is for a Fedora OS computer (I do have openSUSE on another comp.) but the fedora forums never give me a response (including this time) and these openSUSE forums are always very knowledgeable and helpful. So that said....
I cannot get the new 11.2 to install on my machine. THe moment i hit enter at the boot prompt to begin installation, the scree just goes black and unresponsive - caps & scroll lock lights on the keyboard light up and remain lit. no disk activity whatsoever. I tried installing various resolutions, in text mode none gets past the black screen.

Hi,
I have a Lemur Ultra (lemu3), running Ubuntu 12.04. Recently my computer crashed twice without warning, and upon reboot the num lock and caps lock lights were blinking. There were no error messages.
Could someone please help me diagnose the problem?
Thanks very much.
After updating arch using pacman -Syu and rebooting the system, it freezes completely with the caps lock blinking. It freezes completely means mouse pointer doesn't respond, can't shift to any other tty. I end up having to do a hard reset.(Yet to try magic sys rq keys.
My Caps Lock key on my keyboard is not working.
The light indicator does not come on and nothing is capitalized when typing.
What do i need to do to fix this issue.
xmodmap -e "add Lock = Caps_Lock" did not work.
Swapped out other keyboards and still have the same results. The Caps Lock is working on all three on windows.

*TH*is is a strange problem. *NO*tice how the beginning of my sentences include two capitals? Well, over the years I have developed
a terrible habit... and it may be too late to fix. Instead of holding
shift like a normal person to capitalize my works, I hit Caps Lock,
then hit the letter, then hit Caps Lock again. PRetty weird huh?
I've had Ubuntu downloaded on my Dell computer for about year and it's been working perfectly. But today when I tried to log on to my computer, it made choose from a list of settings on which type of Linux I should select.
At times, the capslock function will enable itself automatically (the caps light will be off on the keyboard). I then press Caps Lock, the light goes on, and I can type in lowercase. Then while typing it will revert to CAPSLOCK again (caps key still on). I then press Caps Lock again and I type in lowercase again.
The occurrence is infrequent. Any ideas where I should start looking?
