Hello,
I tried to start a thread on this topic earlier, but it was closed. All the other threads on this topic seem to be closed too. So, I can't post this anywhere else.

Is this spyware installed on ubuntu 12.04 too? Is ubuntu 12.04 affected?
A new interresting article by Richard M. Stallman, which might be worth your read, can be found at: http://www.fsf.org/blogs/rms/ubuntu-spyware-what-to-do

Can someone tell me why threads are closed as solved when they are not solved. Sometimes issues in previous Ubuntu versions continue in newer versions. It seems obvious to reply to a matching thread rather than creating multiple threads with the same topic.
First off I don't appreciate that. Secondly, go back to what, the first thread where I can learn what you guys think of liberal media bias and Obama winning the Nobel Prize?? Ummmm nope, that isn't what I asked in that thread and *best of all* it was closed, taking away my opportunity to find an answer in the first place much less the right answer.
