http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi guys I'm trying to setup WOL on my Ubuntu server, but i'm having a few problems. I installed ethtool and set my Wake-on to g with this sudo ethtool -s eth0 wol g Here is my settings Supports wake-on: pumbg Wake-on: g Here is my problem. If i shutdown my computer it reboots immediately. BUT if i run the command sudo ethtool -s eth0 wol g again even though it's set to g (I checked before i ran the command and it was set to g) and i shutdown the computer, then i can wake it up. If i then try to run the command and shut it down it reboots, but the second time it works. I hop (Hardware)
