[ubuntu] Problems with scroll button on Lenovo SL500 with ubuntu 9.04

http://ubuntuforums.org – Just installed ubuntu 9.04 on my Lenovo SL500 laptop. Now the middle scroll button doesn't work, and I have looked around for a fix but it stll doesn't work. (for example I tried this: http://www.mongflex.com/?p=41) Is it because mine is a SL500, not the same as in the example? (Hardware)

I'm running Ubuntu for a long time now on this box without any major problems.

But a few days ago after installing updates and restarting the computer (Lenovo ThinkPad X200) the middle mouse button doesn't let me scroll anymore.

Hello I'm new to linux and enjoying Fedora 12 but I have a problem with my T400 that I cannot use my middle button of the UltraNav to scroll

i've searched all forums, but found nothing. Maybe because it's a new model, or maybe i haven't searched well enough :) It would be superb if you could help me with some issues:

Fn combinations that don't work: fn+f2, fn+f3, fn+f5, fn+f6, fn+f7, fn+f8, fn+f12.

I have a Logitech m505 mouse, which works fine with my ubuntu 12.04. However, the middle button is so hard to press down that in windows I had assigned it to left scroll with the logitech driver. So if I was to open a link in a new tab, I'd pull the scroll button to the left.

After I upgraded to 12.04 LTS my middle mouse button stopped working... it worked fine before the upgrade. I can scroll with the wheel but when i push it down it refuses to work. Can someone tell me how to make my mouse work again?

hey guys, did a quick search on this here and on google to see if i could find a fix, but to no avail. it may be something very simple, but i'm very simple as well, and have not found a solution :(
