http://ubuntuforums.org – I recently reinstalled ubuntu a new HDD as of problems i was having with my old drive. But i've been having trouble getting a lot of games running. Specifically games in windows - which are all 32 bit. The problem with all 32 bit games and is that for some reason, despite having 32 bit openGL installed they always report "wrong elf class" - i'm on a 64 bit system. For example: when trying to run any game undr wine: Code: err:module:XYZdll failed to load .so lib for builtin L"OPENGL32.dll": libGL.so.1: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 When i try to run penumbra (which is (Hardware)

I'm trying to launch a program through Wine, but I only get this message:

On another forum (or perhaps it was elsewhere on this one), someone said that preloading libGL.so fixes the problem. I wrote a script to do this for Firefox and it seems to have reduced the frequency of crashes. #!/bin/zsh

export LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/libGL.so"; `(/usr/bin/firefox $@)`It still does crash every now and again but I can't seem to pin it down to anything in particular.

Im planning to dual boot Ubuntu and Windows 7.

I have 3 internal hard drives, one for windows, one for all my games and one for downloads and such.

I dont have enough space on the C drive to install Ubuntu on the same drive as Windows so I am planning to install it on the hard drive with my games on it (G: Games).

Hey all,

I'm having some issues with games in 12.10

I've tried Open Arena and Xonotic and both games have trouble with the graphics, the screen is huge and way off the centre, making the games unplayable.

I have file file_1.out which contains the data below
