Recently there was an upgrade to the system available, which I did, but since then there is no popup appearing when I get a new text. It only appears in the notification bar at top.
Used to just drag the popup into the ring to open message, now there's more to do.
Anyone else had this or know anyway to get the popup back?
I did download sms popup app, but found it wasn't very good.
I started developing my first mobile app using jquery mobile.
So far it has been going nicely, but I am not able to solve a specific popup behaviour.
What I want it for a popup to show once the user loads the app. This popup should be similar to a add to home popup like you see in many apps. It is intended to point the users direction to the fixed footer with some important buttons.

I've been using SMS popup for ages but have just recently ran into an issue with the app. After viewing the popup, the lockscreen will no longer engage until restarting the phone, which doesn't work for this guy.
I checked my data usage today and found that today the popup browser used 0mb of foreground data but 5.56mb of background data.
This is the only time I've seen this happen. It might have something to do with a problem I was curious about where youtube videos don't load sometimes in the popup browser. They normally do but sometimes they just buffer forever and every video will do it.
After a recent update of muffin-git*, popup (mostly right-click) menus in all applications have become invisible - if I click where I think the popup menu is supposed to be, a random action occurs (as I don't know which command is being clicked). Firefox compact menu uses a popup so this does not display either. Popup menus only work in Java applications (e.g., libre-office).Norma
After upgrading to Android 4.2.2, a new secure feature is introduced to adb. The first time a computer wants to connect to an Android device, a popup window will appear on the screen of the Android device.
I've already upgraded my /opt/android-sdk/platform-tools/adb and I mis-pressed the "No" button on the screen when the popup shows to let me confirm the RSA key!
When I'm using Chrome I'm getting fullscreen popup advertising even on sites that I am certain do not have it. I see the web site it is trying to load is "www.openadserving.com" in the status bar.
I suspect this is some kind of browser or OS virus.
How can I deal with this on Ubuntu? Is there some tool I can run to detect the virus? Or can I totally reinstall Chrome somehow?
