[ubuntu] Problem adding Apps to Sidebar - 12.04 64bit

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello, When trying to add Ubuntu Software Center to the sidebar yesturday it would just put a blank spot on the bar where the icon should be. Right clicking it would not show all the options. The same thing has happened with other apps. Screenshot included Today when trying to add it it wouldnt even make a spot for it at all. When I open the app it opens fine but does not appear on the sidebar at all so I cant pin. Any suggestions? I gotta say I wish there was extended support for 11.10 because 12.04 is just FULL of bugs bugs bugs. I've never had some many in any OS before. Not even (Hardware)

I have recently hidden my sidebar, and I cannot for the life of me figure out where its gone to. Any suggestions as where to find it. Not only is my sidebar gone, but dash software finder libre a whole slew of apps. Please help :D

Hello, Is there some 'limit' to the number of icons on the unity sidebar , because i have 26 icons on that left sidebar, and the 3 last/lowest icons(desktop/worksheetchanger/trashcan) cannot be moved to a higher place on that sidebar ... :confused:

I removed all the icons in the sidebar because I'd like it to act more like a taskbar than a program dock. However, I now find it annoying that I must type "Software Center" into the Dash search bar whenever I wish to open it.

I thought it would be a good idea to put it right in the Dash home somewhere. Since I don't use Thunderbird, I thought to replace that icon with the Software Center.

I have a problem with the Google nexus 7 tab.

I have an hidden sidebar which slide to the left when opened.

When opened, we can see the content of the sidebar is out of the container (see the picture), but when I close and open again, the content is well placed.

Sidebar and console missing 15 weeks 3 days ago

I'm a newbie on the Ubuntu scene, and loaded 12.10 64 bit initially on a DVD I burned with the iso....then after a short check that all worked, I installed from the desktop loader in the live version. I've retained Windows 7 Pro, and have the Grub loader.
