[ubuntu] Power state unavailable after suspend or hibernate.

http://ubuntuforums.org – I just installed ubuntu about three weeks ago on my hp dv3t laptop. Almost everything was working from the beginning, but one problem I've been having is that after I suspend (standby) or hibernate, the power manager no longer displays the power state. The battery info icon is grayed out, and I cannot obtain battery information. I have to restart in order for the icon and manager to be reset. I really need the power icon and manager to still function after a suspend or hybernate. Any ideas of why this might be and a possible fix? Thanks. (Hardware)
