[ubuntu] Power management

http://ubuntuforums.org – I run Ubuntu on my MBP 8,1 and the power management doesn't seem to work that great with it. In suspend, a full battery won't last more than a day and a half. When the computer is low on battery, it will just keep going until it runs out of power. I would at least like it to suspend and give me a little while to plug it back in. Even if it did suspend at 10%, which would give me around 15 minutes of normal usage, it would probably only last an hour or so before it ran out of power to remain in a suspended state. Is there anything I can do to get better efficiency for my battery? Or some way (Hardware)
