Someone called me ask said:
Hey we need someone who knows Java EE. I guess it's (Enterprise Edition) so i would really like to know,
Which one should i start to learn first, Java SE or Java EE.
I know that Java SE is used to develop desktop apps and for much more, and Java EE is for server stuff, like sites so on.
But if you have some idea please.
Hi. Having read about the security problems with java I am quite interested in uninstalling it. But I am worried that will break something I am used to depending on. Is there a list of apps that use java in the standard distribution, or a simple way to find out what depends on java? (The only one I know about is open office and that is ok to use without java.)
So im trying to create an android program that transfers a file from one android phone to another. I put the send and receive methods to be called when the send button is clicked, but it doesnt seem to send the file to the destination.
When it comes to game programming, I don't think Java is the first language most people think of. They usually think of C++ and other languages. The biggest name in Java gaming is Minecraft, and there are a few other Java-based desktop games out there, but not nearly as many as there are C++.
When it comes to C++ vs. Java for game programming one obvious advantage of C++ is speed.
