I down loaded the parental control app but you have to nominate every banned website?
I hoped there might be a xxx or porn or adult blanket parental control I can put on there any ideas. Daughter is only 9.
Parental Controls on the Mac sucks. For my use case, anyway. I need to block a small number of sites (like youtube) and clearly adult sites as well. Parental Controls as a minimum blocks any https site in existence, including google, facebook, etc.
There’s a newly-revived Linux parental control utility that controls the access to the computer account itself, not just Internet access. If you want your kid to stay off the computer when you tell them to, you need Timekpr.
We are trying to set up ten Asus Memo Pads that we are donating to a local teen center. The tablets are running 4.1 and we have set up the app locks to control that but we would like a suggestion for parental controls for chrome. I want to be able to change the parental control settings from the command line in Windows 7 for another user, so that I can change the settings without interfering with the session. (SSH is wonderful :) ) Whether it be executing a visual basic script, or just using the Parental Controls API, it would be great if I could figure out how to do that.
I'm looking for an app for my daughter's motorola milestone. She is suddenly deleting all calls & texts before she gets home from school. I ran across this app but have really little knowledge about android or apps for that matter.
If someone could check it out or has experience with it please let me know what you think about it.
