http://askubuntu.com – i've tried to install Ubuntu One again and i run into probem. I's trying to do it with Ubuntu software center - instaled ubuntu one but i can not find ubuntu one in menu so a marked to install ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk and i saw this - "ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk: Wymaga: ubuntuone-installer but it is not installable" I downloaded ubuntuone installer but i can not install it - E: Package 'ubuntuone-installer' has no installation candidate (HowTos)

Hello everyone, I recently installed Ubuntu 12.0.4 on my Mac. I now dual boot with a Linux partition of about 100GB. I've loved Ubuntu, makes my life quicker and more customizable.

Anyway more to the point: Ubuntuone of course automatically comes with the install.

So I attempted to install the most up to date version... --> Big fail sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntuone/nightlies The must up to date version does not have a preference menu (GUI) compatible with Ubuntu 10.04...

UbuntuOne client alternative 34 weeks 5 days ago

On Ubuntu 12.04, UbuntuOne client has never worked out for me. It just hangs at "File Sync Starting" everytime. I've used all the workaround terminal commands, but nothing works. Now I'm fed up with the desktop client.

Is there any other way to use UbuntuOne without the default client?

Any other new fix appriciated! Thanks!

I never really know whether UbuntuOne has synced properly as even a simple jpg seems to take days to decide whether it's really synced, if the syncing symbol is anything to go by as in attached screenshot.
