Hello everyone.
I use Lubuntu on one desktop and Ubuntu on a laptop. Dropbox is my main cloud syncing service but I have created an Ubuntu One SSO account in order to backup my home folders.
At first, I was not able to use Ubuntu One on Lubuntu - after installing it from synaptics, when I tried to open it, nothing happens except opening a blank terminal window.
I am still a newbie at this and am running 10.04 and after having a bad time trying to use Dropbox.
As the title explains what you see in my Home Folder is displayed on my Desktop and if I delet from the Desktop it also deletes in the Home Folder.
As well as this File System seems to be missing completely
I have Googled and read articles on this forum namely

hi,
I've had problems with my laptop every since updating to 12.10. Blue colors appear green on my screen; my lubuntu logo is green, and the default desktop is green as well. It's as if the G and B signals for the pixels have been swapped. In my other thread, I found that I already have the drivers for my graphics card in the system.
Julien Lavergne has released Lubuntu 10.04, an Ubuntu-based distribution featuring the lightweight LXDE desktop: "Lubuntu 10.04 is now available for download. Lubuntu is an Ubuntu variant using the LXDE desktop. It's designed to be a lightweight and easy-to-use desktop environment.
Hi all,
I am new on Ubuntu, have a 5 year old notebook with 1 GB RAM and dual boot system with Windows Vista. The default swap file after install was 256 MB, so I decided to make it bigger as described here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1042946.
After about 30 Minutes hard working, my notebook created a swapfile with size of 1.8 GB. And I did all other steps too.
When I installed Lubuntu 12.04 (amd64) I had that infamous B43 firmware problem, but I was able to find a workaround.
This time, installing Lubuntu 12.10 (amd64) I wasn't able to find a solution for the B43 firmware problem.
I've tried the same steps that have worked for many other users, as you can find here http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...44&postcount=6 and here http://ubuntufor
I'm having trouble getting my computer to recognise any bluetooth device, including my Wiimote and cell phone. I have a USB Bluetooth dongle that appears to be working. When I plug it in, I get the bluetooth symbol in my device tray.
Hi,
I am trying to get Dolphin or Konqueror to open mounts on a Gnome desktop rather than nautilus.
