I updated my nvidia driver to 304.51 and and then everytime I boot up my pc I'm always brought to the place where you will go if you pressed Ctrl+Alt+F1... and if I type startx I get this error(or atleast a part of it...): __________________________________________________ ____ Using config file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log," Time: config file: "etc/X11/Xorg.conf" API mismatch: The NVIDIA kernel module has version 304.51, but this NVIDIA driver component has version 295.49. Hi all,

Just now I ran yum update. There was an error message to the effect that the latest nvidia kmod (kmod-nvidia-3.6.1-1.fc17) didn't match the latest kernel, which is still in the 3.5 range.

So I reran yum excluding kernel and kmod-nvidia.

Hello,I was using nouveau with xf86-video-nouveau for some time on my Laptop with GeForce 6150 and AMD Dualcore CPU.Now I wanted to switch back to nvidia or nvidia-ck-kx to be preciese since I'm using the CK Kernel. I have used the CKKernel with nvidia-ck driver before.So I installed nvidia-ck-kx and nvidia-utils to replace libgl with it.

Earlier today I downgraded the driver for my nvidia 240 GT from version 310 to version 304 using ubuntus "additional drivers" utility. After the install I rebooted but instead of opening unity and allowing me to login it booted into tty1 instead.
