http://ubuntuforums.org – I have tor running in my ubuntu. I want to make ubuntu like a proxy server but this proxy server must use tor proxy as source. let me explain: A: tor proxy: 127.0.0.1:9050 (SOCKS5) B: ubuntu (route tor proxy to phone as a proxy server) C: my Phone (wants to use tor proxy) I installed squid3 but it used direct internet. I wants to switch to 127.0.0.1:9050 C to access to Internet must use -> B and B to use freedom internet must to use -> A C -> B -> A (Hardware)

Hi all,I'm trying to channel all my traffic through tor but KDE doesn't seem to recognize my proxy settings. To set up the proxy, I went to System Settings -> Network Settings -> Proxy -> Use manually specified proxy configuration and set the value of SOCKS proxy to socks://localhost, PORT to 9050.

I have to set the proxy on my server to access internet. my proxy is httpx//proxy:3128 which gives me access to the internet in my company. Now how can I make apache access the intrenet using this proxy. I am using centos 5 64bit

i would like to setup two transparent proxy server that use Ubuntu Server and Squid as transparent proxy. My idea is to synchronize the cache between Proxy 1 and proxy 2. so both Proxy server will have same cache inside them. I wish to use Rsync that is an open source utility that provides fast incremental file transfer.

I have a Dell PowerEdge Server and I want to make it into a whole site (location) proxy server so if anyone in the building uses our internet connection, they will have to go through this proxy to get out. I want to be able to block certain internet sites as well as monitor unproductive internet usage.

i am trying to set all internet connections of all network PCs via proxy server that is installed on windows server 2003 i have editted proxy setting from gpo, but it only worked for internet browsers, is there way to force all applications to use that proxy (applications like chatting apps, IDM, torrent and others)

note: i am using ccproxy as a proxy server

Here's what I've got setup:

Windows Service Account with internet access A .NET application which allows setting the proxy settings

Host Port Username Password

When running this application the proxy server logs are showing that the credentials are being passed to the proxy server and the proxy server is allowing the traffic.

I am running perfectly running reverse proxy server for multiple domains, with 1 TB of RAM, 160 TB of HDD, fast as hell, running at this moment 364 websites, where pass thru data is around 1-5 GB per second.

I set socks5 proxy system> preferences> network middleman to connect through wifi to a router with Firewall may have to unlock something? ping is normal, but if you want to connect to the site by the browser it shows the error:

Code: Unable to connect to the proxy server.

A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary between your computer and other servers.

I am new to ubuntu .i need to set a proxy server for internet in chrome .so i am click in to network proxy then give proxy server details now internet working. but i need to add some site in without proxy setting reply me anyone know ..
