[ubuntu] no Ipeth-dkms package for iphone tethering?

http://ubuntuforums.org – i'm trying to tether my phone but unfortunately i'm running into some trouble because I cant find the following required package. i was trying to upgrade from r2 to r3, and that's what i've got:

I had installed cinnamon 1.4 on ubuntu 12.04 earlier but i couldnt upgrade it to 1.6+.. so i uninstalled (and purged) it to do a fresh install.. but now i am getting an error as follows

I was following instructions on ubuntu.com regarding how to uncompress and install tarfiles. I attempted to download a file named 'autogen.sh' which the instructions said MIGHT be necessary to help install a tarball.

The command I issued, along with the response are listed below:

sudo apt-get install autogen.sh

I get these errors when I try to upgrade the packages installed on my Ubuntu system:

I have just installed 12.04 LTS on my laptop and I'm kinda new in this. I am required to write some program in Fortran 77 and I need a Fortran 77 compiler. I have tried installing g77 as described in the Ubuntu website but was unable to do so. I have typed in the following in terminal:

sudo apt-get install g77

and get the following:

i am using xubuntu 7.04 on vmware

i try to install git and git-core ad get following error msgs plz solve it
