[ubuntu] no daily live cd?

The latest build of Ubuntu 13.04 daily build can be download from official Ubuntu cdimage server.

However, I found downloading from this server to be extremely slow.

As we’ve announced yesterday, the development cycle for the next major release of the Ubuntu Linux operating system will start today, May 2, 2013.

I have downloaded and installed Ubuntu 12.10 from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

I'll soon get a new notebook with an Intel Core i7 (3rd gen) processor. I would like to install 64bit Ubuntu 13.04 on the notebook and have the following questions:

Would one choose to install the "PC (Intel x86) desktop image" or "64-bit PC (AMD 64) desktop image" (see http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/)?. As far as I know, only the latter is 64bit. Is that true?

I've loaded from the USB stick with Debian Live CD on it to fix the MBR after a Windows installation.

Suddenly I've found that fdisk -l shows nothing but the live USB itself. What would it mean?
