[ubuntu] NFS not working properly

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi all, I'm fighting with NFS4 and can't get it to work properly. The Server runs Ubuntu 12.04, in /etc/exports I have: Code: /media/Pictures 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0(sync,no_subtree_check,rw,nohide) With this I can mount it on my laptop (Ubuntu 10.04) with Code: sudo mount 192.168.1.200:/media/Pictures /mnt/SharedFiles/Pictures -o nolock but I have to type that every time I start that laptop. If I omit the -o nolock I get Code: mount.nfs: rpc.statd is not running but is required for remote locking. mount.nfs: Either use '-o nolock' to keep locks local, or start statd. (Hardware)
