[ubuntu] nfs file locking problem

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, I have a ubuntu system running 10.04 LTS (x86). This system is a nfs client to a Solaris 10 system (x86) that exports the users home directories. The Solaris 10 system also has a subversion repository. Ok, so I am logged into the ubuntu machine and from the network share I try to commit something: svn commit Makefile svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: Can't get exclusive lock on file '/home/t4/repos/feature/db/txn-current-lock': No locks available svn: Your commit message was left in a temporary file: svn: '/home/t4/nico/Adapt_Crunch/CruncH/feature/trunk/svn-commit.2.tmp' NO (HowTos)
