I'm having a strange issue with connecting to my university's wireless network. I have read several other similar topics, the wiki, random losely related issues, everything I could find. Strangely, none of the fixes I've found have worked. I am able to connect to two other wireless networks through netcfg. However, the university network is not supported by netcfg profiles alone.
Hi forum,
Just installed CentOS 5.5 on my dell latitude x200 and am trying to configure my wifi. I believe wpa_supplicant was installed by defualt; I also installed a package with a name like "wpa_supplicant gui" from add/remove programs.
Hello,
I am trying to bring up a RT2860STA wireless adapter in x86-64bits CentOS (kernel version - 2.6.18), so far without success.
I compiled the driver with `HAS_WPA_SUPPLICANT=y` and `HAS_NATIVE_WPA_SUPPLICANT_SUPPORT=y` in config.mk, the rt2860sta.ko module can be loaded to the kernel successfully.

Hi, I'm wicked new to Linux, so pardon me if I haven't a clue.
I'm using Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04, on an Asus EeePC 904HA.
Yesterday, I was connecting to my wireless network, which has WPA2 security, just fine. Then, I disconnected randomly (I'm used to random disconnects, as I'm a great distance away from my router.)
Hi,
The wireless on my netbook works fine if I just start the laptop, but when the connection is dropped for whatever reason - manually disconnecting or logging out for example, it can't connect anymore. It will try connecting, can see all wireless networks and the settings are still fine, including the password.
It's just that it keeps negotiating and then asks for the password again.
Hi,
I am trying to set up a wireless internet connection on my centos OS (6).
Hey all! I've been using #! for a couple of years now and lurking around these forums over that time, and now I've run into an issue I can't figure out. It's that old chestnut, wifi. I'm trying to connect to a home wireless router with WPA/TKIP. I had it connected briefly, but can't even get a scan to pick up the network since then.
Hi, I need desparate help regarding my wireless connection problem. I cannot connect to my university's wireless network which uses WEP802.1X security.
