Hi ,
Anyone know why itunes running under wine doesnt see my ipod ....ubuntu sees it !
thx
I want to switch the OS on my main machine from Win8 (beta) to Fedora, but I would be losing my iTunes, which I use to sync my music, photos and apps to/from my phone.
Are there any applications that could replace itunes, or a way (preferably without the use of "wine") to get itunes to work under Linux?
This is my very first post to openSUSE and I've only been using Linux for a few days. I really love openSUSE but am experiencing a few problems. One problem is the fact that I can't install iTunes!! I own an iPod Touch and it is absolutely necessary for me to have iTunes or an iTunes alternative that can sync music/videos/podcasts with my iTouch.

Hey everyone!
I recently installed iTunes on Ubuntu 12.10 using PlayOnLinux and everything works fine except for the iTunes store doesn't want to load.
Does anyone else have this problem or know of a possible solution?
I tried using both iTunes 10, and iTunes 7, and both of them have the same issue.
Thanks,
Nanur
iTunes isn't working for me. It works, kind of, but not the log in, and the GUI... Well, something's wrong with it (picture here: )
When I try to run it via PlayOnLinux, it tells me "The file iTunesLibrary .itl has been installed by a different version".
I am running Wine 1.5.11, which I had HEARD could run iTunes. Am I missing something?
Okay..I am new to linux...and have just found out that installing windows programs can be more difficult than I thought.
I tried installing itunes 7 in playon linux it worked after a fashion but not well, couldn't access the itunes store and playback was a bit dodgy I discovered I needed a more up to date version.
