hi,
on my Fedora 16 LXDE dual-screen setup, desktop icons appear as duplicates on both screens ...?!
I have 2 nvidia cards with three monitors Left (0), Middle (1), and Right (2). I have to use xinerama to make them all one desktop because xrandr only joins 0 and 1, leaving 2 as a separate desktop. My understanding is that xrandr can ONLY join two desktops, which is why I am using xinerama.
After MUCH trouble, I have three displays, all one desktop. But, there is a problem.
Hi Folks,
I believe I'm running ubuntu 12.04, with the Unity window manager/desktop.
My system has been working fine for months.
This afternoon, I clicked on the System Settings icon in the bar on the left of the screen. (It's not labelled, so I can never remember what Unity calls that bar.) I think I then selected "appearance". I did not change anything.
I'm currently running Chromium 18.0.1025.168 (Developer Build 134367 Linux) on Ubuntu 12.04 with dual screens if I change to full screen I can't change back. If I drag the mouse to the top of the screen and left click I see small drop down.
Hi I need help removing and Icon Bar that's appeared on my Galaxy Note 2. It's blue and has a little semi-circle tab that sticks out on the edge of the screen and when you touch it an icon bar appears with random icons on it. I can edit the bar and move it from one side of the screen to another but I can seem to get rid of it.
I have a 4 monitor setup with xinerama in seperate X windows. I installed gdm and got rid of the big mouse icon. Somewhere along the way though, icons got screwy. Whenever I try and move them, I have to drag my mouse down for a while. Then the icon appears near the top of the monitor.
I've been having an issue with clicking and dragging icons and windows on my desktop. What ends up happening is I will click and hold on an icon and begin to drag it. The icon does not move. I let go of the mouse button, click on it again, and it immediately opens up (almost like it was double clicked).
I'm trying to install Fedora 16, 64 bit, on a Toshiba Satellite C855-S5206. Single hard drive, 8GB RAM. I did have Ubuntu 12.1 running on it, but I don't like its interface much. No other installed OS. In the install sequence of windows (screens) the screen appears left/right split. In that the right side of the screen is to the left of what should be the left edge.
