Hey guys and girls,
My mouse is acting funny. It's as if the buttons are being pressed even when they aren't. And sometimes its really hard to move the mouse. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
I have a microsoft 5000 bluetooth mouse. After some time, i got it to pair with my laptop (Ubuntu 12.04 64). BUT the pointer doesn't move and the buttons work only marginally. The mouse is a laser mouse so it should work well on any surface- this one isn't working at all..
Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone else had this problem? did I really get the one bad mouse of the bunch??
I have a hard drive which has Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and Windows 7 HP installed on it, partitioned. I have a Mad Catz R.A.T.3 Mouse, which when I initially installed Ubuntu required some configuration but then was working perfectly.
I moved the installation hard drive to another computer, and now I cannot get a response from either my Mad Catz mouse or any other USB mouse.
For the life of me, I can't find a single desktop environment that supports setting both mouse acceleration AND mouse sensitivity. I don't want any mouse acceleration, but I want to increase the speed of my mouse.
