Hello,
I have a Logitech K800 keyboard and a Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX paired in Windows to a single Unifying receiver. They work great in both Windows and Mac. The mouse and keyboard work for some amount of time, usually 1-30 minutes, before dropping. If I press the volume or calculator buttons on the keyboard, both the mouse and keyboard drop.
I installed Fedora 17 on my laptop, where I use a keyboard (Logitech K120) and mouse (generic USB mouse) connected to a hub.
Then I noticed that neither the keyboard nor the mouse worked.
i have a microsoft wireless mouse and a usb hp keyboard attached to a Belkin kvm switch almost identical to this one . I also have a regular ps2 keyboard attacehd (always works) to my ubuntu box (one box is windows and one is ubuntu natty).

Hi I have a strange problem.
My mouse and keyboard are working without a problem most of the time. But sometimes (no specific situation, can't reproduce) there's a bug and the mouse is jumping around for 1-2 secs and the keyboard is pressing like all keys at once. After those 1-2 seconds its possible that either the keyboard or mouse or both don't react anymore, and I need to restart.
I don't get this. They're just USB devices on an Gigabyte AM3+ motherboard, but Ubuntu 10.04 supports them fine while 12.04/12.10 is completely unusable. They're not even powered on past the text boot menu of the lubuntu discs. Is this because the keyboard and mouse are likely USB 1.1? Actually, the keyboard is an Acer that came with my mother's new machine a couple months ago.
I just recently decided to install the most recent Ubuntu version on my Dell XPS 15z running Windows 7 (in hopes of using it to code).
However, after installing, I realized that neither my keyboard nor my mouse worked with Ubuntu. I couldn't move or type. It works with an outside keyboard and mouse, just not my laptops trackpad and keyboard. How do I fix this?
When i resume from hibernation, my mouse doesnt move.
Keyboard is fine.
Mouse is a wireless Logitech MediaPlay.
If I unplug then replug the usb receiver, the mouse works fine.
I am running HIDPoint.
I couldnt really understand the bits and pieces I could find to read as I am new to ubuntu.
I have an Acer Aspire L3600.
Thanks so much!
i did a clean installation of Ubuntu 12.04 recently and all is well, except
for one small thing. When i type anything and anywhere with the keyboard, i cant move the mouse.
So for example when i am playing a game which requires two hands like Nexuiz, i can only move the character but i cannot turn around simultaneously.
Ubuntu runs on a desktop PC.
Hey guys,
I have a big question and I was wondering if any of you can help me out. I recently upgraded my Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10.
Upon booting it up, I have complete access to my keyboard and mouse. The problem arises however, once I select Ubuntu in my dual boot option, I lose mouse and keyboard functionality.
